OLYPUB is a pilgrimage for all those who love - beer, beef, Kolkata and life. Its a truly old place - one of those that emit the ‘old is gold’ feeling quite strongly.
Old low black leather sofas, equally old ACs and cobwebbed pedestal fans and a loyal band of clientele who drop in. Its the oldest pub in Kolkata with its traditional beef steak, mutton steak, Chateaubriand steak , Sausages, Chicken a-la Olypub, Chicken A La Kiev and many kinds of kebabs. Beer comes at the rate of Rs. 123 / 128 / 155 and the above dishes are also approximately in the same price @ Rs. 140. Tandoori chicken (half) is Rs. 110. The menu is provided below. It’s the best destination for having drinks and chatting with friends. The eating / drinking place in the upstairs is better with sofas than the downstairs one. Now they allow smoking in the backside balcony, after smoking was banned from public places. The place is cool for revelers and you could even spot the famous olypub Rat running around on the carpet :D
