Also located in Burrabazaar market, Brabourne Road, Ballygunge Circular Road, Surya Sen Road, Kankurgachi, this quality North Indian mithai shop, Bhikharam Chandmal serves milk-based (kheer) sweets and North Indian namkeens (snacks like bhujiya, chanachur, papdi mix, corn mix). Their Kaju Barfi, Khoa Sandesh, Malpua, Boondi Laddoo and Gajar ke Halwa are one of the best in today’s market. If you are looking for Jodhpuri Mirch Pakoda, Gulab Jamun and Kesariya Rabadi, pay a visit to their shop beside City Centre in Salt Lake. The cost of different types of sweets varies in the range of Rs. 8 to Rs. 20. Kesarya Jalebi is Rs. 12 per pc whereas Rajasthani Jalebi is Rs. 240 per Kg. If you are looking to have full meal, Bhikharam Special Thali is Rs. 170, Tandoor Thali is Rs. 130, Missi Thali is Rs. 130. They also have street-food counters, outside their main entrance, that sell samosa, dhokla, kachori, hot gulab jamun & gajar halwa, special masala fuchka (Rs. 30), Special Fuchka (Rs. 20), Papri Chat (Rs. 50), Raj Kachori Chat (Rs. 50), Dahi Bada (Rs. 25), Dahi Balle (Rs. 25), Madrasi Dahi Bada (Rs. 10), Samosa Chat. They also sell packed peanuts, walnuts, cashew, almonds, raisins and others in attractive packing boxes that can be used for gifting to friends, relatives and guests. The sweet and snacks shop is in the ground floor. Their vegetarian restaurant is located on the upper floor that serves Chinese items like chowmein (Rs. 65), Fried Rice (Rs. 65), Veg Munchurian (Rs. 65), crispy babycorn, chilli potato, Chinese Thali (Rs. 130) and also Indian dishes like Paneer masala, alur dum, peas polao and others.
