Copper Chimney at City Centre Kolkata |
Established in 1972 & located in metro cities like Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore & many more, this chain
of fine dining restaurant, Copper Chimney opened its outlet at the
city of joy, Kolkata, at one our very own City
Centre Mall. Capturing the robust flavors of the Frontier and the rustic
fare of the fabled roadside ‘dhabas’ of Punjab, Copper Chimney delivers an authentic dining experience in its own
signature style. The restaurant has magnificent interiors and is spread over
two levels offering comfortable seating for 130 persons. Rendered in an earthy,
muted palette in lavish wood finish the artfully contained flamboyance.
One part of the dining hall has a full view of
the City Centre mall through its floor to ceiling glass panes. The cascade of
hand-beaten metal bells, romantic al fresco option, copper bells, faux exposed
brick walls, carved wood-paneled partitions and mirrored walls are truly
admirable. The tables are always finely laid out with water goblets, shining cutlery
items and cotton napkins. The soft cushioned wooden chairs and low couches
provide a comfortable dining for both family and friends.

The staff was very courteous and swift in taking
orders. For buffet even they serve chats, soups, desserts on the tables if
asked for. They take feedbacks from customers in an iPad. They should try to
get a liquor license and serve alcoholic beverages. And they should also put
some chairs on the outside region to serve as a waiting area for clientele
whenever the restaurant becomes crowded. You must visit this place if you are
