Another self
service food court in North Kolkata;
Pantaloons Food Court is situated on
the uppermost floor of the Pantaloons
Shopping Centre of Kankurgachi
area. After spending a lump some time on a shopping spree at one of Kolkata’s
most popular brands, Pantaloons, and
you are starving, you can get yourself some fast food, snacks, desserts or
coffee here. This smallish food outlet is right beside the Food Bazaar (grocery store of Pantaloons) and has a few tables and
even fewer food counters as compared to other shopping mall food courts.
They provide Veg buffet at Rs. 220 and Non
Veg Buffet at Rs. 300. There are Mughlai
items like kebabs, tandoori chicken and Biriyani. There’s a dessert counter
offering pastries and cakes like black forest, chocolate truffle, brownie apart from cold coffee (Rs. 65) and chillers / shakes like Kesar Badam Lassi (Rs. 50) and Mango Smoothie (Rs. 40). There are Chinese items in a counter offering Mixed Chowmein (Rs. 120), Fried Rice (Rs. 120), Chilli Chicken (Rs. 110), Chicken Drumstick (Rs. 110) and many
more.

A Vegetarian
food Counter offers popular items like Chole
Bhature, Dosa, Pav Bhaji and chats.
An Italian cuisine counter is also
present that dishes out pizzas and pastas. Getting drinking water from a
cooler storage located at the side of the food court is a free service although
packaged mineral water bottles are available at any counter. Also note that
only cash is accepted at the food court and no credit / debit cards. A common delusion that one can add benefit
points to ones Pantaloons Green Card is also not true. A complete meal for two persons would cost around Rs. 300.
