The gastronomic capital got another addition to its family of diverse culinary destinations. Go Lebanese brings to Kolkata the taste of Middle Eastern delicacies. The small outlet remains busy with constant flow of customers throughout the day. It has got such a good reputation that most of the days they are completely sold out. The reason for this is that the Lebanese cuisine identifies it with the Mughlai and Indian dishes that are available here with the exception of being less oily. Thus, it is high on taste and low on cholesterol.

The most sought after item is the Chicken Shawarma Wrap. It is has become very famous among the city people and is raring to over throw the roll that has been the favorite for so many years. The shawarma is made by wrapping thinly sliced chicken that is marinated and slow cooked, chopped onions, capsicum, a special white sauce in a pita bread. Pita bread, which is a special white flat bread,  is a staple of the Lebanese cuisine. The chicken for the shawarma is cooked slowly on a vertical rotisserie and the spices slowly get infused in the flesh.

One of the very good substitutes of chicken tandoori is the Grilled chicken. It is grilled in Lebanese style without oil and is served with a portion of rice or pita bread. The chicken is marinated in Middle Eastern spices which add a special aroma to it. There are a variety of fish and veg items also, though the predominant items are chicken based. Go Lebanese is the place to be for a light bite or something different but tasty.
